What appear to be hairs standing on end on the cats back, are iron filings, held up in a magnetic field. In response to the viewer, a motion sensor is triggered, which causes the "hairs" to move.
Helvetica Light is an easy to read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.
